
Welcome to Anatomy and Physiology!
Anatomy and Physiology is a year long college elective course which satisfies your one year of life science with a laboratory. Prerequisites for this class would be successfull completion of biology (or honors biology) and chemistry (or honors chemistry). If you are planning on attending a UC or Cal State University they will want to see a minimum of three years of a science course. This course is designed to explore the systems comprising the human body by emphasizing physiological mechanism and a thorough understanding of human anatomy.

My grading Policy:
Curriculum is introduced into units with thematic ideas based on the different body systems. Grades will be based on the followed:
This class will emulate that of a college course and be run as such. Material from the book will be the responsibility of the student to supplement to instruction from class.
I also feel that extra credit should be a supplemental for "oops" that happen through out the semester, so I offer very few extra credit assignments, but they will be available through out the semester.
