  • Susan develops exams, reviews exam results with applicants, conducts and prepares finding on classification studies, prepares reports for the Board of Education and Personnel Commission, etc.
  • Sandy Carvajal, Senior Secretary, may be reached at 562-469-6642
  • Sandy is the secretary to the Director. She prepares Board agenda material, Personnel Commission agendas, backup documentation and minutes, responds to employment verifications, prepares the Personnel Periodical, process various requests for information, etc.

  • Sally Robledo, Senior Personnel Assistant, may be reached at 562-469-6646
  • Sally handles employment recruitment, testing, and selection for various classifications, including all those within the C.S.E.A. Chapter 746 bargaining unit, Food Services, Instructional Assistants, and others. She hires substitutes for these classifications and processes them in multiple computer systems. She also processes employee requests for transfer, performance evaluations, and separations for these employees.

  • Candy Thompson, Senior Personnel Assistant, may be reached at 562-469-6647
  • Candy handles employment recruitment, testing, and selection for various classifications within the C.S.E.A. Chapter 248 bargaining unit. She hires substitutes for these classifications and processes them in multiple computer systems. She also has responsibility for the Noon Activity Supervisor and Student Teacher Assistant classifications. She also processes employee requests for transfer, performance evaluations, and separations for these employees.

    Linda serves as the receptionist for the department. She assists applicants, reviewing and accepting their applications. She responds to request for employment verification, processes change of address for applicants and employees, prepares mailing of job bulletins and maintains job bulletins from other districts. Linda also serves as a key member of the District's Professional Growth Committee for Classified employee
