Dusd schools offer a full range of special programs for students with individual needs. Such as: GATE
(Gifted And Talented Education program), Honors, and Advanced Placement offerings for high-achieving: AVID
(Advancement Via Individual Determination) to help prepare students for college eligibility and succes; and Title I
programs to help students reach, at a minimum, proficiency on State academic
achievement standards and assessments.
