Schools to Watch 2018

On Friday March 9th, 2018 Griffiths Middle School celebrated receiving its designation as a National School to Watch. The Schools to Watch Program “Identifies middle schools that are academically excellent, developmentally responsive, socially equitable, and structured for success.”  Visitors from the community, district, and government joined us in our celebration including Dr. John Garcia, Superintendent of Downey Unified School District, and Lucille Roybal-Allard, member of the United States House of Representatives serving California’s 40th congressional district.
