COLUMBUS HIGH SCHOOL GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDENTS CELEBRATE LOVE

This February the Columbus High School graphic design students saluted Valentines Day by completing projects that celebrate love. The love of friends, the love of family, the love of parents, girlfriends and boyfriends and even pets.  Design students were taught a variety of Photoshop tools including; the eye dropper tool, the paint bucket and the color palette.  They also learned how to apply gradients and the importance of adding shadows to images to create dimension.  As the students go through the process of completing their graphic design projects they begin to develop both graphic design skills and vocabulary. Each project encourages the students to develop an appreciation for art and offers an avenue to express themselves.  Please enjoy these works of art created by the Graphic Design Students of Columbus High School.
