CGI Workshop – Student Discourse and Analyzing Student Work – January 2019
This professional learning opportunity is designed for K-5 teachers and administrators interested in delving into the topics of engaging students in classroom discourse and learning how to strategically use student work to make sound instructional decisions. Using the research of Cognitively Guided Instruction, we will examine and discuss the development of children’s mathematical thinking and build upon students’ ideas to best support the learning of math in our classrooms.
